SON HEUNG-MIN has NOT travelled to Germany for Tottenham's Europa League quarter-final second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that his skipper was the only senior Spurs player not to travel for the crunch clash.

Son, 32, played 80 minutes as Tottenham drew 1-1 with Eintracht in last week's first leg in North London.

The South Korean subsequently missed his side's 4-2 Premier League defeat at Wolves on Sunday.

Upon arriving in Germany, Postecoglou said of his captain: “Sonny didn't travel and he's the only one who hasn't travelled.

“He's been struggling with his foot for a couple of weeks now and has been in pain.”

Loanee Mathys Tel started in Son's place on the left wing at Molineux, scoring in the defeat.

Also absent at Molineux was Tel's French compatriot Wilson Odobert, although the former Burnley winger has travelled to Germany.
