Transfer: Nigerian striker joins MLS club Columbus Crew

Nigerian striker, Aliyu Ibrahim has linked up with Major League Soccer,MLS, club Columbus Crew.

Ibrahim joined the Black and Goldin a cash-for-player trade from another MLS club, Houston Dynamo FC.

Columbus crew paid $450,000 to sign the talented striker from Houston Dynamo.

The fee could rise to $750,000 in conditional performance-based incentives. Dynamo also retain a sell-on percentage in the event of a future transfer.

Ibrahim put pen to paper ona one-year contract with the option for additional two.

“Aliyu is a young and dynamic player whose experience in MLS and the international level adds valuable depth and gives us another quality attacking option,”; said Crew General Manager Issa told the club's official website.

“We are excited to welcome Aliyu to Columbus and look forward to integrating him into our squad.”;
