An English broadcaster and journalist, Piers Morgan has backed the United Kingdom Supreme Court ruling on the definition of ‘woman' under the country’s equality law, which refers to biological sex.

Reacting, Morgan wrote on X, “The consequence of today’s UK Supreme Court ruling on women/biology is that while trans people should be entitled to the same rights to fairness, equality, and safety as anyone elseâand I sincerely believe thatâthey can’t erode women’s rights in the process.”

Meanwhile, an X user known as SugarGSP and identified as transgender condemned the ruling.
“The UK is so fucked. Supreme Court, you have essentially ruined any kind of social presence for many trans people,” the user wrote on X Wednesday.
