U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles land in Cairo, target 8th title

Nigeria's Flying Eagles have arrived Cairo, Egypt, for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

24 players and nine officials led by head coach, Aliyu Zubairu, made the trip to the North African country.

The Flying Eagles are lodged at the Jewel Sports City and Aqua Resort.

They will have their first official training session later tonight.

Zubairu's side are chasing a record extending eighth title in Egypt.

Nigeria's opening fixture is against Tunisia at the Military Stadium, Cairo on Thursday, 1 May.

Egypt will host the competition from 27 April to 18 May , 2025.
