Published on April 16, 2025 at 07:00 PM

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has named his side's UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg starting XI against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Ancelotti opted to start the likes of Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo against the Gunners.

The Los Blancos boss, however, benched captain Luka Modric while starting Aurélien Tchouameni ahead of the Croatian midfielder.

Ancelotti's side head to the game after losing 3-0 in the Champions League quarter-final first leg encounter at Emirates Stadium last week.

Real Madrid defeated Alaves 1-0 in LaLiga last weekend, while Arsenal played a 1-1 draw with Brentford in the English Premier League at the Emirates Stadium.

The winner between Arsenal and Real Madrid will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final stage.

Here is Real Madrid's starting XI against Arsenal:

Courtois; Vazquez, Asencio, Rüdiger, Alaba; Valverde, Tchouameni, Bellingham; Vinicius, Mbappé and Rodrygo.

The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm, Nigerian time.
