Controversial British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has hailed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after the Spaniard guided his team to beat Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg tie on Wednesday.
Recall that Arteta's side eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League, after they won 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Premier League North London club had won the first leg 3-0 at Emirates Stadium last week.
However, in the return leg, goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners the victory against Madrid.
Vinicius Junior did score a goal for Carlo Ancelotti's side during the encounter.
Reacting, Morgan, in a tweet on X, took a bow for Arteta for showing a ‘tactical masterclass' game plan against the Spainsh LaLiga giants.
He also hailed Arsenal players for their beating Real Madrid home and away in the two-leg fixtures.
“Tactical masterclass from this guy. Take a bow, @m8arteta – your greatest moment as Arsenal manager,” Morgan wrote.
“Arsenal’s finest hour. Beating Real Madrid home and away. Just brilliant.”
Arsenal will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final stage.
