Former Arsenal winger, Theo Walcott has picked the ‘favourite’ team to win the UEFA Champions League trophy after the four semi-finalists were confirmed on Wednesday
One of Arsenal, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain or Barcelona will be crowned European champions this season in the coming weeks.
All the four teams booked their place in the semi-finals following the conclusion of the quarter-final stage on Wednesday.
Arsenal eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League, thanks to a 5-1 aggregate win.
Inter Milan defeated Bayern over the two legs fixtures on the last-8, Barcelona won against Borussia Dortmund and PSG defeated Aston Villa.
Speaking after Arsenal defeated Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, Walcott tipped the Gunners as favourite to win the Champions League.
“I want Arsenal to win it and they are certainly capable of going all the way,” the former England international told BBC Sport.
“They will be favourites now, after going to the Bernabeu and beating Real Madrid, but there is something about Inter Milan that worries me. The way they defend makes me think they have a real chance too.
“It's still so open, though, and I can’t even call either semi-final right now, let alone the final â it’s too hard to say who will win it with any certainty.”
