UK-based scientist found dismembered and dumped in suitcase while on holiday in Colombia as cops launched £10k manhunt

A UK-based scientist has been brutally murdered in Colombia – and cops have only found his head, hands and feet.

The trained biologist, who worked for the prestigious Royal Society of Biology, was found after police located his dismembered body parts in a suitcase in the Caribbean city of Santa Marta.

The suitcase was picked up in a stream, and cops are still said to be looking for his torso and remaining body parts.

The biologist had worked at the Royal Society of Biology since April 2017, firstly as a science policy officer and for the past six years as a senior science policy officer, according to his LinkedIn page.
