Dramatic moment Ukraine kamikaze drones strike Russian missile unit behind Putin’s horror Sumy attack that killed 34

THIS is the dramatic moment Ukraine uses their kamikaze drones to destroy a Russian squadron in a giant fireball blast.

The attack was a calculated revenge strike on the twisted Russian missile unit behind the which left 34 people dead.

Footage shows a UAV flying above the city of Shuya in Ivanovo Oblast where ‘s 112th Missile Brigade were cowering after they left Sumy in ruins on Palm Sunday.

It can be seen quickly plunging towards the ground as it collides with its intended target which is believed to have been a Russian base.

A huge fireball explosion can be seen erupting across the city followed by plumes of thick black smoke.

The exact drone used is still unclear but initial reports suggest it may have been an An-196 Lyutiys which can hold explosive warheads weighing up to 60kg.

Images circulating on social media are said to show the devastating aftermath of the strikes.

A towering warehouse was left smashed up with glass from its windows being sprawled across the street.

Trees can be seen laid out on the floor among piles of debris from the blast.

Early on Tuesday, the Ukrainians sent over at least five of their specialised to take part in the retaliatory blitz.

One ofthem had a message for the murderers scrawled across it which read: “****wits of the 112th, this is for Sumy.”

It is unclear if there were any casualties from the Russians side.

A Russian source did claim when the troops saw the “massive approach of drones”; they “managed to jump out, run away.”

They confirmed that some did suffer injuries.

later claimed it had shot down seven large drones in Ivanovo.

Hours earlier, also bombarded Russia’s 448th missile brigade's base.

The General Staff of Ukraine‘sconfirmed the attacks were acts of retribution for the Sunday strikes.

Ukraine’s head of military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, pinned the blame for Sumy on the 112th and the 448th missile brigades.

TheSumy attack – which deliberately targeted civilians and killed two children – was one of the most horrific of the conflict so far.

A colossal 21-ft missile slammed into the town centre as worshippers returned from church.

That was followed by another minutes later, which scattered cluster munitions amongst the rescue workers for maximum death.

Ukraine and world leaders condemned the brutal assault as a “war crime“.

As the bloody war rages on, Vlad has refused to let up on his attacks as he continues to refuse to accept a ceasefire.

Putin’s forces staged a major attack on Kherson on Wednesday which killed at least one.

The head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, dramatically came under fire while making a statement about the city being attacked.

This came after the US issued its most stern warning yet about the peace process.

US state department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said: “There will be no negotiations, no decisions, no agreements until this carnage stops.”

She added that the continuing slaughter of civilians only raises questions over who is truly committed to peace.

It comes as Trump's top advisers are set to travel to on Wednesday for talks with over Ukraine and its future, the US state department said today.

US special envoys Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff will remain in until Friday as they look to “stop the bloodshed”;, according to a statement.

The meeting comes only days after Trump publicly blasted for “allowing”; Russia’s invasion.

Trump told reporters: “You don't start a war against someone 20 times your size and then hope that people give you some missiles.”;

Putin is also set to discuss Ukraine when he welcomes Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in this week.
