Unbeaten PSG confirmed Ligue 1 champions with six games left

Paris Saint-Germain have been confirmed as Ligue 1 champions on Saturday.

Luis Enrique's men beat Angers 1-0 to clinch their fourth straight Ligue 1 title in front of their supporters.

The win gave PSG an unassailable lead in the French top flight.

Desire Doue netted the only goal as they moved to 74 points with six fixtures left.

PSG are now 24 points ahead of second-placed AS Monaco, who play later on Saturday but can reach only 71 points if they win all their remaining games.

The title is PSG’s 13th in history – a record in France – and their 11th since the 2012-13 season.

PSG captain Marquinhos, who joined the club in 2013, became the only player in history to win 10 Ligue 1 titles.
