Tech billionaire Elon Musk’s led Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, on Monday reacted to the United States Department of Justice’s decision to charge Akeel Abdul Jamiel, an Iraqi, with illegally voting in the 2020 US presidential election.
Recall that in the 2020 US presidential election, which Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump.
This was revealed in a statement by the US Attorney’s Office, Northern District of New York, on Monday.
According to the statement, US Attorney John A. Sarcone stated: “As alleged, Jamiel’s voting in the 2020 election was a callous and illegal act.
“We will continue to investigate and prosecute illegal schemes aimed at corrupting the election process.”;
Reacting, DOGE, in a post on X, commended DOJ for doing a “great job.”;
DOGE tweeted: “Great job by @TheJusticeDept
for prosecuting voter fraud where a non-citizen voted in a federal election.
“Note that this individual was also previously arrested for first-degree assault and was receiving federal benefits. Only American Citizens can vote in American Elections.”;
