US: Trump endorses two candidates for Arizona governor

Published on April 22, 2025 at 05:42 AM

US President Donald Trump has endorsed two Republican candidates vying to be Arizona’s next governor.

The two candidates are businesswoman Karrin Taylor Robson and Rep. Andy Biggs.

In a post Monday on Truth Social, Trump said he likes both GOP candidates.

“I like Karrin Taylor Robson of Arizona a lot, and when she asked me to Endorse her, with nobody else running, I Endorsed her, and was happy to do so,” Trump wrote.

“When Andy Biggs decided to run for Governor, quite unexpectedly, I had a problem — Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my great honor to give my complete and total endorsement to both.

“Either one will never let you down. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Robson announced in February that she would be running in Arizona’s 2026 gubernatorial race.

Biggs, on the other hand, filed a statement of interest for the job in January and later officially announced his campaign.
