US will continue to deport monsters under Alien Enemies Act – Trump

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday praised the Supreme Court for clearing the way for his administration to go ahead with immigration actions.

The Supreme Court's ruling included deporting alleged gang members under a wartime law dating back to 1798 called the “Alien Enemies Act”.

Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump said: “Last month, we officially designated Tren de Aragua, MS-13 and the Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations—and thanks to the Supreme Court yesterday.

“W will continue to deport these monsters under the Alien Enemies Act.”

Recall that the US Supreme Court had on Monday using an obscure wartime law.

The nation's top court also said that migrants subject to deportation under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act must be given a chance to legally challenge their removal.

The ruling was a victory for the Trump's administration.
