KBS 2TV's upcoming drama “Pump Up the Healthy Love”; has released a behind-the-scenes video from its poster shoot!
“Pump Up the Healthy Love”; is a rom-com drama about Do Hyun Joong (Lee Jun Young), a passionate and determined gym owner who radically transforms the lives of his overly anxious gym members. Jeong Eun Ji plays Lee Mi Ran, an assistant manager at a travel agency who joins the gym to get over a recent breakup.
The new video kicks off by showcasing the vibrant filming set, which has been meticulously designed to resemble a real gym, with various workout machines and gym rules posted on the wall. The cast, including Lee Jun Young, Jeong Eun Ji, Lee Mi Do, and Lee Seung Woo, are seen gathering on set and breaking into a fun dance session, highlighting the lively, upbeat vibe behind the scenes of the drama.
While posing for the shoot, Lee Jun Young perfectly embodies Do Hyun Joong, a gym fanatic who leads his members with a no-nonsense attitude. Meanwhile, Jeong Eun Ji fully embraces her role as the gym newbie, playfully using props like bread and dumbbells.
The video also teases the budding romance between the two characters as the leads pose for a couple poster. Jeong Eun Ji is seen holding a barbell while Lee Jun Young gently holds her arm from behind, the two exchanging natural smiles in between that reflect their off-screen chemistry.
Reflecting on the experience, Lee Jun Young shared, “It was my first time doing a poster shoot on set, so it was a new experience.”; He added, “'Pump Up the Healthy Love’ is a drama through which I was able to grow a lot as a person… Since we laughed a lot while filming it, I hope you’ll enjoy watching it just as much.”;
Jeong Eun Ji commented, “It was such an enjoyable time because we got to show off the chemistry we’ve built among the cast.” She later continued, “I’ve always loved working out, so it felt refreshing to get the chance to play Lee Mi Ran, a character who is a complete beginner when it comes to working out.”;
