Former Chelsea and Arsenal star, William Gallas, has urged Al-Nassr to sign the outgoing Manchester City superstar Kevin De Bruyne.
He believes the Belgian could help Cristiano Ronaldo reach the 1000-goal milestone.
The Portuguese, who is said to have agreed a new two-year deal with Al-Nassr, became the first men's footballer to reach 900 career goals.
De Bruyne is set to leave the Etihad Stadium after 10 seasons at Manchester City, as he announced this month.
Multiple clubs are already lining up to sign the Belgium midfielder, who will become a free agent in June 2025.
Ronaldo's Al-Nassr are reportedly one of the major contenders for his signature this summer, with the Portuguese himself said to be keen on playing alongside the 33-year-old.
In an interview with Slingo, Gallas urged the Saudi side to make a move to bring the midfielder in to help Cristiano Ronaldo’s ambitions.
“It would be great for Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane. It would be great for the club. I know that the club is desperate to win the league, so it would be a very positive thing for them.
“It would definitely help Ronaldo score 1000 goals because De Bruyne's vision is amazing. I'm sure Ronaldo would love to play alongside him.”
Ronaldo has scored over 920 career goals and hopes to reach 1000 in the next few seasons.
A player like De Bruyne, known for his playmaking and passing skills, could help him fulfil that ambition through assists.
However, it remains to be seen if the former Chelsea midfielder ends up joining Al-Nassr.
