Zamfara FRSC deploys 526 operatives for Easter celebration

The Zamfara State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has deployed 526 personnel and 13 operational vehicles, including two ambulances, for the Easter celebration in the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the command, Isah Aliyu, and made
available to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.

According to the statement, the Sector Commander, Tijjani Illiyasu, has assured that the celebration will be hitch-free, promising to monitor activities during and after the celebration.

“The Command will continue to work with other security agencies for information gathering and sharing, aimed at forestalling possible threats to operational activities in the state,”; he added.

The statement also noted that FRSC is working with relevant stakeholders to sensitise and educate fleet operators towards safe driving and an accident-free environment.
