Sean made his acting debut in the production of Romeo and Juliet in 1983.

Since then he's starred in Game of Thrones, Tory as well as the Lord of the Rings films.

Off screen, Sean has been married a whopping five times, which has resulted in four divorces.

The actor first tied the knot in 1981 to his school sweetheart Debra James, before they called time on their relationship seven years later.

Sean went on to marry Coronation Street actress Melanie Hill and they went on to have two children together.

Sadly though, their marriage ended in divorce in 1997 but Sean wasted no time in moving on.

After meeting on the set of blockbuster Sharpe, Sean and Abigail Cruttenden were wed just three months after his divorce to Melanie was finalised.

The couple went on to have a child together in 1988 but divorced just two years later.

In 2006 Sean started dating actress Georgina Sutcliffe with the love birds scheduling their wedding for January 2008.
