Corrie’s Tina O’Brien HAS split from husband after 14 years – as pals reveal huge issue that tore them apart

CORONATION Street’s Tina O’Brien has split from her husband Adam Crofts after seven years of marriage.

Pals said the soap actress, 41, and personal trainer Adam, 39 called time on their romance three months ago after growing apart.

A source close to the couple, who first started dating in 2011, added: “Tina and Adam have ended their relationship and are spending some time apart.

“They moved house at Christmas and have decided to live separately for the time being.

”;Tina and Adam are on good terms, they’re still close and are committed to being a family, even if they’re not together.”;

The estranged couple share a son, Beau, while Tina is also mum to Scarlett, 16, from her previous relationship with Ryan Thomas.

Tina and Adam started dating in 2011 before marrying on New Year’s Eve in Manchester in 2018.

They have now both ditched their wedding rings and unfollowed each other online.

Tina was photographed yesterday looking downcast as she had a coffee during a break from filming Coronation Street.

Those close to the couple said their differing lifestyles was a factor in their split.

A source said: “Adam and Tina lead very different lives – he is really into his fitness, while she really enjoys going out with her mates and having a dance, which just isn’t for him.

“It wasn’t an issue at first because they were head over heels, but as the kids have started to grow up it’s become more noticeable.

“Adam likes a quiet life and unfortunately that just isn’t Tina.”;

Last month Tina flew to Barbados with Scarlett, while Adam took their little boy Beau skiing.

Friends close to the pair hoped it would be their chance to think about what they really want and give things another go, but they agreed the decision to split was for the best.

Tina and Adam started dating in 2011 when Scarlett, who was a toddler at the time, wandered over to his table in a cafe.

Speaking about their meeting, Tina said: “She goes, ‘Hello man’. I thought, ‘He’s quite fit’, and we got talking.”;

They shocked their family and friends when they tied the knot in 2018 with a surprise wedding – after telling everyone it was just a New Year’s Eve party.

At the time she said: “It’s amazing to finally be husband and wife.

“I didn’t take it lightly, committing to being with somebody for the rest of my life.”;
