While another shared: “I am gutted there’s no more #dealornodeal #tippingpoint”;.

However, viewers have accused ITVafter spotting a major change.

They noticed how the prize money up for grabs has been slashed by a whopping £150k, with the eye-watering original £250,000 top prize axed.

A second wrote: “Have no clue why every game show looks so cheap and in pitch black. Why is every game show in pitch black now?”

A third commented: “It does seem very tight considering the Channel 4 version began nearly 20 years ago and had £250k as top prize. No idea what that would be in today’s money but probably £350k or thereabouts?

Host Stephen, 48, working on the programme as his “career highlight”.

He exclusively told The Sun: “Deal or No Deal…because it's 22 members of the public and I love working with the public anyway, but you hear everything as a presenter.

“It's possibly the hardest job but the most rewarding job because you've got highs, you've got lows, you've got people that are there to win money, but over that hour you learn a lot about that one person.

Stephen added: “I've done Catchphrase for 10 years and for nine years. This is my career highlight.

“Dancing on Ice is close but Deal or No Deal has been my highlight.”
