JADE Goody's mum Jackiey Budden has broken her silence amid a bitter legal feud with Jeff Brazier.

Dad-of-two Jeff, 45, is fighting to prevent his son Freddy, 20, from seeing his grandmother, 68, with an insider alleging their relationship has been detrimental to his wellbeing.

Tonight, the Mail reports that Jackiey said from her Bermondsey home: “I know what this is all about. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.

“Do I want to see Freddy? Of course I do. I see Freddy all of the time. I will see him.”

A neighbour told the publication: “I feel sorry for Jackiey. She's been through so much. It's a complex situation. I just hope they can be all together again as a family. Her grandchildren mean the world to her.”

Jeff has hired a leading barrister for the upcoming hearing.

It comes 16 years after Jade died of cervical cancer aged 27, when Freddie was just four and his EastEnders actor brother Bobby was five.

A source close to the Brazier family has said of Jeff's action: “This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep Freddy safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his well being for a long time now.

“The fact that he is going down this route shows how concerned we all our and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people.’’

During last year’s BBC show Celebrity Race Across The World Freddy spoke openly about his challenges with mental health and his relationship with his father who brought him up since losing Mum in 2009.

He said of his relationship with his Dad on the programme: “At times where I’ve pushed him away he has pulled even harder to pull me back in.

“I don’t think I praise my dad enough for everything he has done for me but he knows the love.”;

Freddy regularly stays with gran Jackiey in South East London and has posted a video on TikTok of himself openly taking drugs at her flat in Bermondsey.

Recently Freddy also posted a video of her making a foul mouthed rant at him where she is quoted as saying; ‘’Do you hear me? Don’t f***ing do it no more, don’t Fred, Please don’t. Don’t f***ing talk to me like you talk outside, if that’s the case f*** off. Yeah f*** off.’’

Last week Jeff shared snaps on Instagram of him and Freddy enjoying a meditation retreat in Essex.

He also shared a photo of them running together with the caption: “So grateful to Fred.

“He's cycled alongside me every night this week and supported me since I decided I wanted to run an ultra marathon this year.

“He's always the best company.”

Londoner Jade became one of the UK’s first major reality stars after shooting to fame as a contestant on the third series of C4’s Big Brother in 2002.
