Japan 0 Costa Rica 1: Keysher Fuller grabs dramatic winner with first shot on target at World Cup to throw Group E open

KEYSHER FULLER grabbed a late winner for Costa Rica to throw Group E wide open.

The clash with Japan looked set to be heading for a sixth 0-0 stalemate of the World Cup.

But Fuller poked goalwards and goalkeeper Shuichi Gonda could only fingertip the ball into the top corner with nine minutes to go.

It was Costa Rica’s first shot on target in the entire World Cup – after their 7-0 drubbing against Spain.
