JEFF Brazier has shared an emotional Mother’s Day tribute honouring the late Jade Goody – but completely snubbed her mum Jackiey Budden amid their feud.

Presenter Jeff, 45, posted a heartfelt message alongside throwback images of Jade with their children Bobby, 21, and Freddy, 20, and her friends with the boys.

Jeff has launched a legal big to prevent Jackiey from seeing Freddy

Big Brother legend Jade died fromcervical canceron Mother’s Day 2009 when Freddy was just four years old and Bobby was five.

Since then,Jeffhas raised his sons with his wife Kate.

Last week, Flying Eze on Sunday revealed he's taking on Jade’s mother in a new legal battle to prevent her from seeing Freddy.

Jade's widower Jack Tweed has since weighed in on the drama, claiming Jade wouldn’t have wanted Jackiey and Jeff at war.

In his Instagram caption, Jeff reflected on Jade’s absence and the role others have played in supporting him and his sons over the years.

He wrote: “Firstly to the greatest mother imaginable to be cruelly denied the privilege of seeing her children long into adulthood.

“Anyone taken from loved ones is sorely missed but I’d have to admit we have needed you ever since and still do to this day.

“It was too big a job for me alone but thankfully we have a strong dependable village around us.

“My Mum & Auntie Leslie were there for us in every way especially those early days and beyond. It’s hard to imagine coping without them.

“My wife Kate and I can be really proud of how we’ve grown and risen to the challenges.

“She’s the first person I confide in when I need to figure something out or vent and her support has been a constant throughout.

“The Godmum’s, Jades friends, have been a constant source of time, love and comfort always checking in, going above and beyond.

“Happy Mother’s Day to Kate’s Mum Debbie and Kate’s Auntie Lisa.

“They have been amazing with Bob & Fred but I’m particularly grateful for our memories of Safari & how they kindly welcomed us into their Christmas plans for the last 11 years making a difficult time feel special.

“My friends Dawn, Chantelle & Karen deserve a massive Happy Mother’s Day too. Invaluable support, each of them have given my children so much over the years.

“It’s a team game parenting so Happy Mother’s Day to the hero’s that have picked us up, carried us, and continued to hold us in mind.

“We [love] you all.”

Despite mentioning the females who have played a role in his children’s lives, Jeff did not reference Jackiey at all.

Drastic action

Jeff is taking the drastic action on the grounds that Jackiey is having a “detrimental effect on Freddy’s wellbeing”.

A source close to the Brazier family has said of Jeff's decision: “This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep Freddy safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his well being for a long time now.

“The fact that he is going down this route shows how concerned we all our and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people.’’

Freddy regularly stays with gran Jackiey in South East London and has previously posted a video on TikTok of himself openly taking drugs at her flat in Bermondsey.

Recently, Freddy also posted a video of her making a foul mouthed rant at him where she is quoted as saying; ‘’Do you hear me? Don’t f***ing do it no more, don’t Fred, Please don’t. Don’t f***ing talk to me like you talk outside, if that’s the case f*** off. Yeah f*** off.’’

Jeff has shown pictures of him taking Freddy to a meditation retreat in Essex, Freddy helping him train for an ultramarathon, and last year the pair appeared together on Celebrity Race Across The World.

Freddy said of his relationship with his Dad on the programme: “At times where I’ve pushed him away he has pulled even harder to pull me back in.

“I don’t think I praise my dad enough for everything he has done for me but he knows the love.”;

Freddy also said: “I lost my mum when I was four, and that was on Mother's Day, which is really hard. I don't really like showing my emotions.

How to protect yourself against cervical cancer

CERVICAL cancer is most commonly diagnosed in women in their early 30s, with around 3,200 new cases and 850 deaths each year in the UK.

According to CRUK, the five-year survival rate is around 70 per cent – and the earlier it is caught, the better.

Cervical screening programmes and HPV vaccines have reduced rates and save 4,000 lives each year.

It is vital you attend your smear test and get jabbed when invited, and that you know the symptoms of cervical cancer to look out for.

These aren’t always obvious, and they may not become noticeable until the cancer has reached an advanced stage.

But you might notice:

  • Unusual bleeding (often after sex, between periods, or after the menopause)
  • Pain and discomfort during sex
  • Vaginal discharge (often unpleasant smelling)
  • Pain in your lower back, between your hip bones or in your lower tummy

Women are invited to have regular cervical screenings between the ages of 25 and 64. How often depends on your age.

The HPV vaccine, which helps protect against the virus, is recommended for children aged 12 to 13 and people at higher risk from HPV.

“I don't even speak to my dad much about my mum either. I just avoid it. I prefer to bottle it up. I don't want to feel like I'm a burden to them.”

But Jackiey is hitting back, and despite Freddy previously sharing a video of him taking drugs at her home, she insists her house is safe and “always has been”.

“This is not fair,” she told the Daily Mail. “I’ve tried so hard with Jeff over the years, to keep the peace and to keep the family together and the boys close – I even send him a Christmas present every year, but he doesn’t appreciate it. He probably throws them in the bin.

“All these years, I’ve been the closest thing to their mum.”

“The boy is an adult now, and Jeff treats him like he’s ten,”; she added. “It made sense seven years ago when Freddy was still 13 when Jeff first tried to stop him from seeing me, but now he’s 20 years old.”

In a warning to Jeff, she claimed she could “ruin him if she wanted to” and accused him of “riding on” late daughter Jade's coattails.
