Jeon Somi has given her fandom an official name!
On April 24 at midnight KST, Jeon Somi announced that the name of her official fan club would be “SOMMUNCHI.”;
“SOMMUNCHI”; is a combination of “Somi”; and the Korean word “munchi”; (which means “bundle”; or “unite”; and is pronounced “moon-chee”;), as well as a pun on the Korean word “som”; (which means “cotton fluff”;).
The formal announcement explained, “Soft and cozy like cotton fluff, but strong and powerful when we unite as one. [‘SOMMUNCHI’] means that Jeon Somi and MUNCHI are always together in every moment.”;
