After making purchases in West London, sacked The One Show host Jermaine, 42, squeezed into heavyweight Derek’s tiny Smart car.

They are said to have met through their shared involvement in boxing interviews on iFL TV.

Jermaine has been keeping a low profile since a sexting scandal that led to his BBC boot.

He has recently been back covering football action for talkSPORT.

We recently revealed how Jermaine and his wife Ellie Penfold split up after 16 years together.

Heartbroken ex-model Ellie announced the couple were separating in an Instagram post.

It read: “I never imagined I would have to share something so personal with the public, but given the situation, I feel it's necessary.

“After 16 years together and 4 wonderful children, Jermaine and I have decided to part ways.

“We will remain friends and continue to co-parent.

“We kindly ask that you respect our children's privacy during this challenging time.
