Jessie J reveals shock career change despite secretly penning THREE new albums

JESSIE J famously sang it’s not about the money, money, money – but now she wants to make it all about the FUNNY.

The Price Tag star hopes to leave fans rolling in the aisles by becoming a comedian.

Rochelle Humes, Jessie J, Eve, Tiwa Savage and Louise Redknapp came together for an event organised by Apple Music

Jessie said: “I actually genuinely want to do stand-up.

“I love making people laugh — and cry. I just love feeling things. So yeah, I do want to do comedy.”;

She cracked some jokes during panel talk The Woman I Am, organised by Apple Music in London on Thursday for International Women’s Month.

And at the event, she recalled one of the most surreal moments of her chart-topping career.

Jessie explained: “The Olympics, when I performed with Queen and I had that yellow duvet attached to me.

“They didn’t turn the choreographer’s mic off in my ear.

“He was going, ‘Get it. Oh my God. Yes! Own it!’. I was like, ‘What is going on in my life?’.

“Luckily I sang in time. After that, I went home, had a cheese sandwich and I watched Come Dine With Me.

“I just remember thinking, ‘What is actually happening?’.”;

I told last month how Jessie is gearing up for a return to music, seven years after her last record.

And she revealed she has written not one, not two, but three new albums.

She said: “This year, I finally got a team together. I wrote three albums over 2019 to 2021. And I have so much music.

“That’s not the hard part. For me, it’s getting it out. And I have new music coming very soon.”;

Louise Redknapp, Tiwa Savage, Eve and Rochelle Humes were also on the panel at the exclusive event, which supported Apple Music’s Alpha playlist, aiming to redefine the meaning of a woman’s power.

But Rochelle shattered any hopes of a return to pop.

After being referred to as a music artist and entrepreneur, the star — who was in S Club Juniors and The Saturdays — clarified: “Ex-music artist.”;

When host Rebecca Judd said she was “scaring”; her by suggesting she will never come back to music, Rochelle added: “I don’t think I will.”;

I won’t hold my breath for a Saturdays reunion, then . . .
