BASEBALL star Tony Blanco is among the 113 dead after a nightclub ceiling collapsed, trapping hundreds at the horrific scene.
Blanco, 43, and former MLB player Esteban Germán were in the Jet Set nightclub together in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, when the roof caved in during the early hours of Tuesday.

The ceiling caved in while merengue singer Rubby Pérez performed in the early hours of Tuesday morning, killing at least 113 people and injuring over 150.
Blanco was killed in the chaos, along with MLB legend and Nelsy Cruz, the sister of former MLB slugger Nelson Cruz.
Germán, who made it out of the club moments before the collapse, revealed Blanco made a heroic move in his final moments.
He told MLB insider Héctor Gómez that he was returning from the bathroom at Jet Set when the roof started to crumble.
Blanco pushed Germán out of the way when he realized the ceiling was about to fall on him, Germán said.
