The highly-anticipated sequel to the hit drama “Weak Hero Class 1”; was released on Netflix on April 28. Jo Jung Suk made a special appearance as Mr. Choi, the manager of Na Baek Jin (Bae Na Ra), who stands at the top of the powerful school gang alliance, leaving a lasting impression.
In particular, the scene where Mr. Choi instantly subdues Na Baek Jin, the leader of the gang alliance, was more than enough to leave a powerful impact. When Na Baek Jin, who is constantly causing trouble related to the alliance, acts out, Mr. Choi sternly warns him, “If I ever come back again, you’re dead.”;
Jo Jung Suk perfectly embodied the role of Mr. Choi, the “axis of evil”; who manipulates every incident from behind the scenes, with his chilling facial expression, cold tone of voice, and even the subtle trembling of his facial muscles. Despite it being a special appearance, the actor radiated an overwhelming presence and made Mr. Choi an even more compelling character.
“Weak Hero Class 2”; continues to follow the journey of model student Yeon Si Eun (Park Ji Hoon), who transfers to Eunjang High School, still haunted by the trauma of failing to protect his friend. At his new school, he struggles to survive in his new environment, facing even greater violence while fighting to protect those he cares.
