ENGLAND boss Gareth Southgate has three top quality goalkeepers to choose from at the Winter World Cup.

But fans expect Everton shot-stopper Jordan Pickford to be number one for the Three Lions in Qatar.

How tall is England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford?

The England stopper, 28 completed his first Premier League season in the 2017/18 season.

He was born on March 7, 1994, in Washington near Sunderland.

Pickford is 6ft 1inch tall and weighs approximately 12 stone 2lbs.

He is known by the nickname Picky.

What team does he play for?

Pickford began his career with boyhood club Sunderland.

He had numerous loan spells at Darlington, Alfreton, Burton, Bradford and Preston before establishing himself as No1 at the Stadium of Light.

His superb performances in the 2016-17 couldn’t prevent the Black Cats from being relegated to the Championship, but earnt him a big-money move to Everton.

He was awarded the Everton Player of the Season for 2017-18.

How much did he cost?

The Toffees paid an initial £25million for the young England stopper.

With add-ons, it could rise to £30m.

He signed a five-year deal at Goodison Park and was ever-present in his first season.

Who is his girlfriend?

Pickford’s girlfriend is University of Sunderland graduate Megan Davison.

They met at school and have reportedly been together since they were 14.

Megan is in Russia supporting her boyfriend in the World Cup.
