KATY Perry, Lizzo and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the stars bring some serious glam to the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony last night.

The 40 year-old's head-turning creation even came with an elaborate hood, while her brunette tresses were styled in slick waves.

Lizzo, meanwhile, brought plenty of drama to the red carpet in her crimson gown, which showed off her incredible weight loss.

She teamed the gown with costume style gloves complete with spiky nails.

She wore her hair in wet-look mermaid waves, perfectly complementing her striking make-up.

Goop guru Gwyneth, meanwhile, stuck to her minimal California vibe with a simple but stunning white strapless gown.

She wore her blonde locks in loose beachy curls and kept accessories to a minimum.

Christina Aguilera also sported white for the night, but her look had a corset bodice teamed with lots of lace.

Zoe Saldana also grabbed attention as she debuted her new chest tattoo, a pretty rose design which was shown off with her off shoulder pocket dress.

Elsewhere at the event, Paris Hilton dripped with jewels in her gothic inspired black lace affair.
