Aravon McCann is one of those who has been struggling with moss outside her home.

Aravon claimed that using non-biological washing powder can kill the moss.

But rather than shaking it straight out of the box, she puts it into a metal sieve.

Aravon adds: “What a genius idea. This is a dream come true.”;

She explained that she would previously put the powder into a bottle and shake it out, but this used to take her longer than simply sprinkling it.

Her video gained 4,162 likes with over 400 people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One praised the hack, and wrote: “Do this all the time, it smells great after the rain.”;

A second added: “Doing this for years..love the sieve idea.”;

A third asked: “Does it matter if it is bio or not bio? I’m definitely going to try this.”;

To which Aravon replied: “Bio is better.”;

A fourth said: “It honestly does work and does no harm to your tarmac/concrete.

“My neighbour has been doing this for years and it works pretty quickly.”;
