Kym Marsh reunites with soap star ex to celebrate their daughter’s 14th birthday – after Kym’s split with toyboy

KYM Marsh reunited with her Hollyoaks ex this weekend as the pair celebrated their daughter's birthday.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress was seen smiling with her ex husband Jamie Lomas and their daughter Polly as she turned 14.

The picture was shared by Jamie's fiancée, Jess Bell, with whom he also has a baby.

Kym was with Jamie from 2008 to 2014. In 2009, their son, Archie Jay Lomas, was born 18 weeks early and died moments after birth.

They went on to have their daughter Polly in 2011 before tying the knot in Cheshire in 2012.

Sadly, the pair split two year's later, but as the new snaps show, are on good terms co-parenting Polly.

The reunion comes after Kym's most recent split from toyboy loverSamuel Thomas, in February, who she had called her ‘soulmate'.

The pair were together for a whirlwind six-month romance.

The 48-year-old Coronation Street star met 29-year-old actor Sam last year after starring in 101 Dalmations: The Musical together.

The Waterloo Road star has had a turbulent love life over the years with three failed marriages,four childrenand two grandchildren.

Along with her daughter Polly and ‘rainbow baby' Archie, the actress shares a son David (born 1995) and a daughter Emilie (born 1997) from a relationship with Dave Cunliffe.

The actress was previously married to Eastenders star Jack Ryder from 2002 to 2009, with Jack filing for divorce on the grounds of adultery following her alleged fling with second-husband-to-be Jamie Lomas.

After her marriage to Jamie the ex HearSay singer married ex-soldier Scott Ratcliff in 2021.

The couple split after 18 months reportedly due to clashing work commitments.

She recently told Closer magazine she lives in a ‘very blended household’.

“My youngest [grandchild, Clayton, David’s son] is two.”

“Teddy [Emilie’s son] is five, and I have a step-granddaughter, Polly [Emilie’s stepdaughter], who is eight.”

“My youngest [child] is almost 14, so they keep me very busy when I’m at home.”

She also discussed turning 50 next year: ‘I might celebrate every single month for the whole year. You’re only 50 once, right?’

She continued: ‘I’m nowhere near ready to give up at all. I feel like at this moment in time, I’ve really made some good choices, and I want to make some positive changes and really start looking after me.”
