Two years after going on hiatus over health concerns amid his Tourette's battle, Lewis was seen smiling on Friday night.

Almost two years ago at Glastonbury, Lewis returned to the stage despite being “sh*t scared” to perform.

Ahead of his Glasto performance, Lewis had taken three weeks out to “rest and recover” for a mental health hiatus.

But despite his short break, in the middle of his set, Lewis confessed that he was struggling with his Tourette's.

Heard coughing throughout the show, Lewis was struggling as his supportive fans sang his hit Someone You Love for him.

After his performance, Lewis decided to take a longer break from performing.

Writing a statement on social media, Lewis said: “The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write.

“I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this and I’d hoped 3 weeks away would sort me out.

“But the truth is I’m still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come.

“I’m so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve.

“Playing for you every night is all I’ve ever dreamed of, so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can.”

Two years down the line, it seems that Lewis might finally be ready to step back into the spotlight.

Yungblud, who is close pals with Lewis, has spoken out about how he is getting his mental health back on track.

Speaking exclusively to Flying Eze, he said: “Ihave heard his new music and it sounds great. He is getting his mental health right.

“Ilove him, as me and him have been on this ride together.

“We experienced it at the same time and he is perhaps the only friend who knows what I am going through, in the same way I know what he's going through.”
