‘I don’t give a s***’ – Liam Smith hits back at fighting Chris Eubank Jr or Conor Benn ahead of Aaron McKenna bout

LIAM SMITH is primed to fight the winner between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn – but he does not give a s***.

Benn tested positive for clomifene – a substance known to boost testosterone – and fought to protest his innocence.

The former WBO light-middleweight champion on the undercard of Eubank vs Benn at Tottenham's stadium.

He is linked with fighting the winner but Smith told DAZN: “Selfishly, I don't give a s*** about the main event.

“I just need to win, announce that I'm back and then I'll speak to you about the main event or call out the winner whatever it may be.”

Benn, 28, later had his provisional UK Anti-Doping ban lifted which allowed him to fight on British soil again.

In the midst of his doping saga, he took his career to America for two wins up at light-middleweight.

Eubank, 35, stopped Kamil Szeremeta, also 35, in seven rounds last October in Saudi Arabia to set up his blockbuster with Benn.

Smith, 36, meanwhile finally returns against Irishman McKenna, 25, who is 19-0 with ten knockouts.

And he said: “Aaron McKenna is coming to try and finish my career but it's not time just yet.”
