LIDL has confirmed it will shut 848 locations for 24 hours ina matter of days.
The German discounter said it will not open its England and Wales branches on Easter Sunday, which falls on April 20.

It means staff can enjoy a break before opening again on Easter Monday.
Branches in Scotland will remain open on Easter Sunday.
The major supermarket always tends to close over major bank holidays such as New Year and Christmas.
The day off is part ofwhich state that shops in England andWaleslarger than 280 square metres have to close on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.
And its not just Lidl who has plans to close for the occasion, Aldi, Tesco, Sanisbury's and Morrisons will also shut.
