Now that temperatures are beginning to climb across the country, many of us will be thinking about giving our gardens a spruce up, ahead of planning BBQs and garden parties.

And landing in stores on April 3rd, Lidl's new garden range has everything you need to make your garden the envy of everyone that visits.

Get your garden summer ready with the Livarno Home Garden Sofa set, which is priced at £99.99 (£79.99 with Lidl plus) and comes with an outside sofa, two chairs and a table.

To protect yourself and your family from the heat, you can also purchase a selection of parasols for £14.99, as well as a variety of Sun Shade Sails, also priced at £14.99.

And homeowners can brighten up their gardens with a stunning selection of wind spinners and solar lights, with prices starting at just £3.99.

Lidl is also selling a selection of stylish and practical privacy screens for just £6.99, which are great for preventing nosy neighbours from snooping.

Also arriving in Lidl stores on April 3rd is an extensive range of indoor and outdoor plants, to spruce up your home and garden.

From a Standing Geranium priced at just £1.99 to a selection of Colourful Hanging Baskets for £4.99, your garden will be full of colour with these bargain buys.

Aldi Garden Buys

And Lidl isn't the only budget supermarket to launch its garden range as temperatures begin to climb, with Aldi dropping a whole host of bargains from today (March 27).

Their foldable fire pit – which comes with a charcoal grid, acookinggrid and a handle poker – will be one of the first products to be released.

It’s perfect for abank holidayBBQ and can even be taken away oncampingtrips, costing just £29.99.

Aldi is also releasing a range of decorative items, including whimsical garden arch, a vintage metal hanging pot and a spring rattan hanging basket.

Their products won’t break the bank either, with the arch costing just £29.99 and the hanging pot coming in at just £1.99.

The viola and pansy hanging basket will only cost £4.99.

Their popularpicnictable is ideal for caravanning or picnics and will cost just £12.99 in stores.

Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts

IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.

Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.

It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.

Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.

It also uses “shelf-ready”; packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.

Other products which will become available on March 27 include modern bird nesting box, wind vane and spinner accessories and solar glass flower stake.

More practical items including a flexible garden hose – costing just £8.99 – and a £2.99 drip feeder will also become available.
