LIDL's massive garden event kicked off this month.

Shoppers can spruce up their balconies with wooden decking tiles and bamboo screens, whilst gardeners can pressure wash patios and light up their paths with solar lights.

And if you're looking to add instant fun and colour to your space, Lidl has a range of decorations.

Last year, Aldi launched a range of metal ornamental birds for the garden.

And customers were quick to snap them up.

This year, Lidl has released its own version and there's four birds to choose from.

Priced at £14.99 each, the Livarno Home MetalBird Ornaments will brighten up any outside space.

There are four designs to choose from: Peacock (closed tail), Peacock (open tail), Heron (white), and Heron (blue and white).

The product description says they are decorated with corrosion-resistant paint so should degrade if it rains.

Each bird has two spikes so you can anchor it securely in the ground so they don't fly away!

They are also easy to assemble with assembly instructions included in the box.

The birds vary in height from 82-94cm high, so they add interest to a border.

If you're looking for other garden ornaments, there's a selection of Decorative LED Fountains in store too.

Choose from Stones, Sphere or Bowl for £14.99 each.

It has a quiet water pump, lights and power cable.

For anyone wanting to make their outside space a little more private, Lidl has a range of screens at low prices.

The Livarno Home Privacy Screen is a trellis made from real willow branches with lifelike plastic ivy leaves.

It is easy to attach with cable ties or binding wire (not included) and extendable from 40-240cm in length.

If you want something more natural-looking the Livarno Home Reed Garden Screen is made from natural reed with wire binding and ideal for fitting to fences, railings or pergolas.

There is also a wide selection of trellis' to choose from if you want to create privacy with a climbing plant.
