Ligue 1: Super Eagles forward, Moffi set for Lorient return against Nice

Published on October 29, 2022 at 05:39 PM

Super Eagles forward, Terem Moffi could return to action for Lorient in Sunday’s French Ligue 1 clash against OGC Nice.

Moffi has been sidelined since suffering an ankle injury in Lorient’s 0-0 home draw against Stade de Reims on October 15.

The 23-year-old returned to training early this week and is now in contention for Les Merlus’ home fixture against Nice.

The striker would be further assessed in today’s training session to ascertain his fitness level.

Moffi and Kone should participate in Saturday’s session,” Lorient manager, Regis Le Bris told Telegramme.

The Nigerian has been in fantastic form for Lorient this season netting eight goals in 11 league appearances.
