Liverpool vs Everton tips

Our Bet Builder selections: Liverpool Win to Nil, Mohamed Salah to score and assist, Abdoulaye Doucoure carded at 33/1. ADD TO YOUR BET SLIP HERE!

Back our 33/1 Bet Builder

Here's why we've made those selections..

  • Liverpool Win to Nil: Liverpool have lost just one of their last 24 Premier League home games against Everton, winning their last three at Anfield by a 2-0 scoreline. They have also scored at least twice in 26 of their 29 Premier League matches this season, including each of their last nine in a row and their last 12 consecutive home games at Anfield. David Moyes has been the saviour for the Toffees since his arrival, but his record against Liverpool is woeful, having failed to win any of his 19 Premier League away matches against the Reds.
  • Mohamed Salah to Score and Assist: Mohamed Salah has been directly involved in eight goals in his last seven Premier League Merseyside derbies for Liverpool against Everton (6 goals, 2 assists), scoring and assisting in the reverse fixture at Goodison Park. He was relatively quiet against PSG and Newcastle, but he found the net and provided an assist for Egypt during the international break and should carry that momentum into Wednesday’s clash.
  • Abdoulaye Doucoure Carded: The Everton midfielder was not particularly popular with Liverpool players or supporters following the reverse fixture. Both he and Curtis Jones were sent off after the final whistle, and I’d expect him to be right in the thick of the action under the lights at Anfield.
