WHILE fans have been divided on the latest season of The White Lotus, there is one thing most viewers have agreed on.

Everyone wants to visit the stunning island where the hit was shot, and now you can stay there for up to two months without paying any .

Koh Samui is Thailand's second largest island, after Phuket, and has a population of 70,000.

And with a little known , you can become a temporary resident there without spending a penny on accommodation.

TikTok user Iona (@ionatravels) revealed the step she took when moving from the UK to the scenic island.

She explained that she is often asked by her followers how she is able to afford her lifestyle.

Iona shared that she used the volunteer exchange site Worldpackers to set up her life in Thailand for two months.

She explained that the set-up “allows you to travel for as cheap as possible for as long as possible”.

Iona revealed that she was able to live rent-free on Koh Samui while volunteering at a dog sanctuary.

“You can exchange your skills for free accommodation and even sometimes free activities too,” she said.

She listed some of the other “amazing benefits” which included: new skills, language lessons, free parties, free tours and activities, friends for life, free drinks, yoga lessons, and free transport.

Iona added that you are also giving back to local communities while immersing yourself in a new culture.

She showed her audience how the app works, advising them to choose the part of the world they want to visit.

Worldpackers has volunteer opportunities in over 140 countries, including turtle conservation in Cost Rica and teaching English in Indonesia.

For her arrangement, Iona simply had to be over 18 and willing to volunteer at least 25 hours each week, enjoying one guaranteed day off every seven days.

“[You get] free accommodation in such a beautiful non-touristy part of Koh Samui in exchange for giving the sweetest dogs in the world a happier life,” she said.

After creating her profile, Iona exchange messages with her host and was soon “good to go”.

As well as the handy set-up, she pointed out that you also get to travel in your free time and “chill on beaches”.

To illustrate her stunning lifestyle, she included clips of her cuddling with the shelter dogs, taking them on scenic walks, and relaxing on the beach.

Iona summed up her time in Thailand as a “life-changing experience”.

TikTok users shared their thoughts on the arrangement in the comments section.

“Living on an island for free is legit the dream,” wrote one impressed viewer.

“It looks like you have had the best two months,” said another follower.

“Omgggg, manifesting I can do this,” commented a third person.
