LOUSIS Tomlinson today suffered a blow just days after going public with his Zara McDermott romance.

Flying Eze exclusively revealed this week how Zara, 28, is moving on with her life and is now dating One Direction singer, 33.

Last weekend we revealed that Louis, and Zara were spotted on a cosy night out at a hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, following her split from Sam Thompson.

But it seems the new romance might have done some harm to the superstar singer on social media.

While Zara and her ex Sam, 32, have seen a rise in their followers on Instagram, Louis' have dipped.

According to datingscout.co.uk, Zara gained nearly 3K new Instagram followers this week, and Sam acquired a thousand more.

However, over the last month Louis has lost 80K.

‘HAPPY' ZARA

Despite the loss of followers, Louis should be pleased to know that Zara is reportedly smitten with him,

The former Love Island star is reportedly “so happy” with her new man, and is enjoying dating him.

According to sources, the One Direction singer has “put a smile back on her face” after a tough breakup.

“Zara is so happy, it’s early days with her and Louis but everything is going well between them,” a friend told the Daily Mail.

“News of their romance leaked sooner than they intended – the plan was to keep things private for as long as possible.

“They still hope to keep intimate details away from prying eyes.

‘LOOSE CANNON'

This week, Zara's friends branded Sam a “loose cannon” following the break-up.

Their comments come after something he said on his podcast Staying Relevant.

During a chat with MAFS relationship expert Paul Brunson, Sam appeared to make a dig at his ex Zara when he said: “A lot of people look for validation in other people and they look for the next person instantly . . . It's like, ‘I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement.'

“You know when you get that excited feeling when you are talking to someone new and fresh? I can't do that.”

Zara's pals have since told the Daily Mail that Sam will “never be forgiven” for what they are calling, “snide” and “attention-seeking” remarks.

“Why would he do this?” a friend said to the outlet.

“Zara put a lot into her relationship with Sam: she did everything she could to make it work for five years, but in the end she just couldn't.

“He's a loose cannon, as we saw with his comments so soon after Zara's relationship was made public. It's really quite pathetic of him. It feels like it always has to be about him”

Continuing they added: “Six months ago he was crying in the street with photographers watching because he was upset at Zara.

“You have to wonder what he is going to say next. Why can't he just let her move on? Will she ever escape his clutches? Who knows.”

END OF AN ERA

Sam and Zara called time on their romance in December after getting together in 2019.

It was revealed how the pair spent last Christmas apart, confirming shortly after that they had ended their relationship after “a tough year”.

At the time a source close to the couple told MailOnline: “Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It's been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other.”
