Lyon 2 Man Utd 2: Calamity Andre Onana proves Matic right with two howlers as last-second goal denies Red Devils big win

MANCHESTER UNITED battled from behind but threw away a win with the last kick of the game.

Leny Yoro scored his first goal for the club on the stroke of half-time to cancel out Thiago Almada's opener.

An Andre Onana howler allowed Lyon to open the scoring

United goalkeeper Andre Onana was left with his head in his hands once again after failing to keep out the Argentine's cross.

The ball bounced awkwardly from the direct free-kick but Onana completely missed it in his attempt to punch clear.

So he would have been celebrating more than most when Zirkzee popped up in the last minute to head in Bruno Fernandes' perfectly weighted cross.

However he will be blamed for Lyon's last gasp equaliser as he could only parry out a shot which fell kindly for Rayan Cherki to tap in.
