MAFS Australia star sparks concern as she shows off black eye and admits she was ‘in an altercation with a d***head’

MAFS Australia star Jessika Power has sparked concern by revealing a painful black eye on Instagram.

The reality star, 32, told fans it was not caused by her ex-boyfriend Ryan, but said she would not reveal the identity of the man behind it.

She told fans: “So I haven't been on my social media for a couple of days for obvious reasons.

“Let's just says I had an altercation with somebody who is a d***head and he's not part of my life anymore and never will be ever again.

“I'm definitely alright. I don't condone violence in any regard. I don't condone domestic violence and unfortunately I've been at the hands of it three times now.”

Jessika said it no longer hurt and wasn't fractured, though she wanted advice on how to cover it up before seeing her family at the weekend.

She clarified: “For anyone thinking it's my ex-partner Ryan, it definitely was not. He never raised a hand to me and is the most gorgeous person ever. We're still really good friends.”

Jessika, who rose to fame on the sixth series of MAFS, announced the end of her romance with Ryan Loveridge earlier this month.

Ryan appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2018 and went on a date with Sugababes star Mutya Buena.

He had been dating MAFS star Jessika since the beginning of the year, and the pair seemed smitten.

However, Jessika revealed her heartbreak after his text messages to another woman were leaked.

The reality star explained that the pair “were on a break” from their relationship when the messages were sent and that no cheating occurred.

“I was so hoping to avoid having to write this BUT unfortunately every personal moment I have or decision I make can become public fodder,” she wrote.

“In the past it's made it difficult to maintain boundaries or feel a sense of privacy but I do appreciate the platform I have and the support I receive from you all so I feel it's only right to share my side of the recent articles and allegations being reported about Ryan and let you know our current relationship status.”

Continuing, Jessika told fans: “After thoughtful consideration, we have decided to part ways.

“While our romantic relationship has come to an end, we continue to have great respect for each other and appreciate the moments we've shared.”

Jessika's past relationships include her MAFS romance with TV husband Mick Gould and short-lived romances with Brit DJ Brent Anthony and Filip Poznanovic.

“We did decide to make it work but unfortunately for me (just recently) I felt we weren't progressing how I had envisioned. This decision had no connection to the past situation we both went through together it just simply wasn't for me.

“So no, Ryan hasn't been “busted talking to girls” I was aware but I also had no problem as it was when we weren't together.

“I still would like to ask for privacy during this time as we move forward separately.

“There is no bad blood between either of us and we remain committed to supporting one another in our personal and professional lives. Thank you for understanding.”
