AN investigation is underway after projectile thrown by football thugs left a 15-year-old-girl with head injuries.
Greater Manchester Police are looking into the incident following Manchester City’s Carabao Cup clash with Liverpool on Thursday.
The father of the City fan said his daughter had to have her head glued after being struck by a full plastic pint pot “weighted with coins”;.
The projectile was hurled from the Liverpool section down onto fans below – injuring another person.
