He then opened his door to find the stairwell already filled with thick, black fumes.

With no safe way out, he climbed out of his window and hurled himself onto a that neighbours had quickly placed beneath him.

Video shows Arian carefully climbing onto the before leaping down – bouncing hard on the trampoline as neighbours rush to help.

He landed safely and escaped without injury, but two rooms and the balcony of the flat were destroyed in the June 2024.

The rest of the apartment was badly damaged by smoke and water, and the flat below was also impacted by flooding from the efforts to put out the flames.

The cause of the fire remains unclear.

This comes as around 100 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at a London tower block as two flats were engulfed in flames.

Fifteen fire engines rushed to the inferno at around 5.45pm last week after it erupted out of the two flats in Aldgate in the east of the city.

Terrifying footage showed the blaze pouring out of the sixth-floor balcony of theblock of flats.

Another fire had been spotted at a flat on the seventh floor of the same building.

A spokesperson forFire Brigade (LFB) told The Sun: “Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters dealt with a flat fire on Leman Street in Aldgate.

“Two flats on the sixth and seventh floors of the building were alight.

“Firefighters led 11 people to safety. There are currently no reports of any injuries.”

Crews were mobilised from stations in Whitechapel, Shadwell, Shoreditch, Dowgate, Bethnal Green, as were other surrounding units.

The fire was eventually brought under control by 7.33pm, LFB added.
