A MAN has been killed after a car was allegedly deliberately driven at him late at night.

The 47-year-old victim was killed after the vehicle was at him in Woolton, , at around 11.45pm on Friday, Merseyside Police said.

Despite being rushed to hospital by paramedics, the victim tragically died from his injuries at the medical centre.

A 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.

Now, police are appealing for anyone with any information or CCTV footage to come forward.

“Despite the best efforts of the people who came to his aid and those of paramedics, he sadly passed away in hospital.
