Man Utd and Liverpool ‘both make £130m Jude Bellingham No1 transfer target with EIGHT clubs set for summer battle’

JUDE BELLINGHAM is the top target for both Manchester United and Liverpool next summer as eight clubs look set to battle for his signature, reports say.

The highly-rated 19-year-old has emerged as one of the best talents of the next generation and continues to wow with performances at Dortmund.

The English star is now being pursued by the world’s biggest clubs and it seems likely he will make a move in 2023.

But it is still unclear where he will go with several major clubs jostling for pole position.

Sky Sports Germany believe Manchester United and Liverpool are now in the best place to land Bellingham, who could command a transfer fee up to £130m.

The talented teen could spark a tug of war between the two English giants – and financial fair play rules could play their part.

The pair are also not the only teams involved in what is set to be a fierce transfer battle.

Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, PSG are all believed to also be looking to claim Bellingham’s signature.

Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg tweeted on the midfielder: “He’s the transfer target No. 1 for #MUFC confirmed! They expect him to cost around €150m [£130m], they have scouted him a lot.

“Ten Hag wants him in 2023! But: Chances are low due to competition from #MCFC and #LFC and due to Financial Fairplay!”;

And the reporter added in a second tweet: “On the other hand #LFC is very optimistic to get him in 2023!

“He’s is also the main target, Klopp is pushing for him & Liverpool wants to invest in summer.

“They expect him to cost €100m + X. Hardly any chances: PSG, Barca, Bayern.”;

Bellingham had been heavily linked to Liverpool in recent weeks but with owners FSG putting the club up for sale it could potentially change the Reds’ spending power.

The ace came through Birmingham City‘s academy and was quickly identified as a star of the future.

He was playing regularly for the club in the Championship by the age of 17 before moving to Dortmund.

Since then Bellingham has gone from strength to strength at the German club and has forced his way into the England team.

And with the World Cup fast approaching, Bellingham will be looking to grow his reputation even further in Qatar.
