‘Is this real?’ – Bizarre moment Augusta official gets whacked on the bum by golf ball as fans say ‘can’t stop laughing’

FANS revealed they “can’t stop laughing”; after an official was whacked on the bum by a golf ball.

The hilarious incident occurred at the on Friday.

But there was a brilliant moment when an official managed to get stuck on his rear end by a wayward ball.

It happened at the par 5 8th hole on Max Homa’s shot.

The ace had managed to get himself stuck between some trees.

And spectators gathered round to see if he could get himself back on course.

Homa hit a magnificent shot between branches to get the ball back onto the green.

But his efforts were short-lived after an umpire got in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The Augusta chief had his back turned as the ball crashed down.

And it gave him a whack on the backside, prompting him to spin round in bewilderment while drawing laughs from others present.

Fans online were quick to react to the incident too.

One said: “Is this real? Lol.”;

Another declared: “I can’t stop laughing.”;

One noted: “I like how he stairs back as if it’s not his fault.”;

Another added: “You can’t make this stuff up.”;
