Premier League star, 27, interviewed by his reporter sister who tells him ‘I’m proud of you… I love you’

Speaking to his sister Hannah afterwards, Cash admitted Villa were disappointed with the result, yet remained confident in their ability to turn the tide at Villa Park.

However, the conversation then took a turn as Hannah told Cash she had remembered to record the game for him back home.

As the pair laughed, Hannah then ended the interview by saying: “Give me a huge Matthew.

“I’m proud of you. I love you.”;

This sparked jubilant applause back in the CBS studio.

Kate Abdo, Micah Richards, Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher all congratulated Hannah on her interview with brother Cash.

Explaining how the Villa star is always missing his own games on telly, she said: “He always forgets to record the game on TV.

“He texts me two hours before the match saying please log in and record. It’s one of the biggest game of his life! So I made sure I did that for him.

“But it’s got to be in HD. If it’s not in HD he gets fuming with me.”;
