McDonald’s is giving away FREE items to customers this week – here’s what you need to do to get the offer

MCDONALD'S is giving away free items to customers this week – including the fan favourite Sausage and Egg McMuffin and McNuggets.

But you will need to be quick as the deal is only available until the end of the week via the McDonald's app.

Customers can get a Sausage and Egg McMuffin when they spend £10 on a delivery order

Customers will be able to get their hands on a free Sausage and Egg McMuffin when they spend just £10 on a delivery order.

You can also claim 6 free Chicken McNuggets on orders over £15.

The offer is valid on all delivery orders and is running until April 6.

The offer is part of the McDonald’s Deal Drop, which gives you discounts every Monday.

To get the deal, customers will need to download the McDonald’s app via Google Play or the Apple App Store and opt into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

They will then receive a notification or email every Monday with the deals available.

The deals will drop into the Rewards and Offers section in the McDonald’s App.

They can then be used for McDelivery and in-store via the McDonald’s App.

Customers can also use the app to earn rewards on their spending at McDonald’s by opting in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

For every penny you spend you earn one Rewards point.

Once you have enough points you can redeem them for a Maccie's treat of your choice.

This comes after the fast-food giant revealed a new menu shake-up last week as part of a collaboration with thepopular video game.

The new launch includes a McFlurry, which will combine soft dairy ice cream with apple and shortcake pieces.

It will be topped with a sour apple sauce.

Fans can also get their hands on a new“Nether Flame”;hot sauce and Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers.

The Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers will be made from mozzarella cheese infused with garlic and chives which is wrapped in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating and served with a tomato dip.

The new “Nether Flame”; hot sauce is inspired by theMinecraftgame.

The sauce will come with the new Minecraft Movie Meal, which will feature a Big Mac, nine McNuggests or four veggie dippers.

You will also get the choice of a side and carbonated drink and an exclusive collectable toy.

There will be six collectables on offer including the Grimace Egg, Zombie Hamburglar, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Soda Potion and Big Mac Crystal.

How to save at McDonald's

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research byFlying Ezefound a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald's receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.
