McDonald’s fans demand return of beloved Cadbury Easter item ahead of new menu launching this week

McDonald’s store rolls out policy that bans certain diners – even adults will be barred unless they comply with 2 checks-

MCDONALD'S fans are furious after noticing a beloved Cadbury treat seems to have been dropped from the Easter menu.

The new menu is set to launch this week — but people are less than happy with the line up.

Last week we revealed everything you can expect from the 2025 McDonald's Easter menu, set to launch on Wednesday March 26.

However backlash quickly spread after users of the Facebook page UK Newest Foods caught wind of a missing element.

The line up includes a brand new adult Happy Meal which is Minecraft themed, and can come with a Big Mac, 9 McNuggets or 4 Veggie Dippers.

The adult and kids version of the Minecraft Happy Meal also come with a collectable toy — and there are 12 up for grabs in total.

Other brand new items include a Spicy Nether Flame Sauce, an Apple Cake McFlurry (in normal and mini size), an Apple Slice Fruit Bag and Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers.

Meanwhile, the items which will be staying in restaurants include the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, the Philly Cheese Stack and the Katsu Wrap.

Customers will also be able to get their hands on the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie still.

You can read about the full list of items, and how much they will be selling for, in our article here.

However, one anticipated item appeared to be missing from the menu — and it did not go unnoticed by fans.

One person wrote: “Erm where THE FLIP is the Creme Egg McFlurry”, gathering 59 thumbs up.

Another commented: ” …. No Creme Egg McFlurry! Surely not!”

A third said: “I'm not sure about the Apple Cake McFlurry, I want the Creme Egg one back.”

McDonalds is yet to make an official menu announcement, however UK Newest Foods said: “This is 100% genuine! You heard it here first…”

In recent years, the Creme Egg McFlurry has cost £2.79, while a mini Creme Egg McFlurry would cost £2.19.

It was first launched in 2002, making it an iconic staple, and was available in stores last year.

The Mini Egg McFlurry is also an Easter favourite which was brought out in 2006, but hasn't been seen for a couple years.

However, as some people in the comments pointed out, it's not quite Easter yet — so there is still time for some last minute appearances.

To keep up to date with the latest McDonald's launches, you can keep up to date with its UK Facebook page, local groups, or the McDonalds website.

This way you can be the first to access brand new menu items, and check prices before you arrive.

However, remember that on launch days there will be lots of customers racing to try new stock — so its best to get there as quick as you can.

Always remember to take a second to compare prices with other fast food branches — however McDonalds is usually cost friendly.

How to save at McDonald's

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research byFlying Ezefound a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald's receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.
